👀 NVIDIA H100 GPUs that cost $40,000 new are now selling for around $6,000 on eBay, an 85% drop. Some companies are booking these GPUs on five to six year depreciation schedules even though Nvidia are releasing new generations every two years that tank their value...turns out “accelerated compute” might also apply to depreciation.
